Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and responsible Account Officer to join our team in Sabon Wuse, Niger State. The successful candidate will assist with financial record-keeping, transaction processing, account reconciliation, and the preparation of financial reports to support the organization's financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records, accounts, and supporting documents. Record daily financial transactions, including payments, receipts, and expenses. Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, and other accounting documents. Reconcile bank statements, cash records, and ledger accounts. Monitor accounts payable and receivable and ensure timely processing of transactions. Assist in preparing periodic financial reports and account statements. Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial records. Monitor expenses and support budget tracking. Assist with audits and provide relevant financial documents when required. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting procedures, and financial regulations. Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Relevant experience in an accounting or finance role is an advantage. Good knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial record-keeping. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Familiarity with accounting software is an added advantage. Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills. High level of accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
