Job Title: Heavy-Duty Mechanic Trainer

Location: Endo, Nasarawa

Employment Type: Full-time Description Ganfeng Lithium Industry Limited is seeking an experienced Heavy-Duty Mechanic Trainer to join our mining site in Nasarawa State.

Key Responsibilities

Provide practical and theoretical training to heavy-duty mechanics. Train mechanics in the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of heavy-duty mining and construction equipment. Conduct hands-on training on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, electrical systems and other equipment components. Train staff on preventive and scheduled maintenance procedures. Assess mechanics' technical knowledge and practical skills. Identify technical gaps and provide appropriate coaching and guidance. Develop and implement equipment maintenance training programs. Demonstrate proper use of diagnostic tools and workshop equipment. Promote safe working practices and compliance with HSE requirements. Monitor trainees' progress and prepare training/assessment reports. Support the maintenance team in diagnosing recurring equipment faults and improving equipment reliability.

Requirements

Relevant technical qualification or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Heavy-Duty Equipment Maintenance, Diesel Mechanics or a related field. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance. Strong practical experience with excavators, loaders, bulldozers, dump trucks, graders and other heavy-duty machinery. Good knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, transmission and electrical systems. Previous experience as a trainer, instructor, senior mechanic or workshop supervisor is an advantage. Mining, quarry, construction or other heavy-equipment industry experience is highly preferred. Ability to deliver effective hands-on technical training. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work on a mining site in Nasarawa State.
