Job Summary

A well established lounge is currently hiring for the role of Mixologist, accommodation comes with this role

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails and beverages. Create innovative drink recipes and recommend beverages based on customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional attitude. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene at the bar, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces. Monitor beverage inventory, manage stock levels, and report shortages to management. Ensure accurate measurement, presentation, and consistency of drinks. Handle customer orders and payments accurately where required. Follow responsible alcohol service practices and applicable age restrictions. Minimise wastage and maintain proper records of beverage usage where required. Collaborate with other lounge staff to ensure efficient service delivery.

Requirements

Minimum of SSCE/WAEC/NECO or equivalent qualification. Previous experience as a mixologist, bartender, or in a similar hospitality role is an advantage. Knowledge of cocktail preparation, beverage mixing techniques, and drink presentation. Creativity and attention to detail in developing and preparing drinks. Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Knowledge of bar hygiene, sanitation, and safe beverage handling. Basic stock management and cash-handling skills. Ability to work efficiently in a busy lounge environment. Honesty, punctuality, professionalism, and a neat appearance. Willingness to work evening shifts, weekends, and public holidays as scheduled. Relevant bartending or mixology training or certification is an added advantage. Salary N75,000 - N80,000 per month.
