Job Title: Procurement Officer

Location: BUA Flour and Pasta Mill, 2nd Gate, Tin Can Island, Apapa, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing and purchasing of materials, goods, and services at competitive prices while ensuring compliance with company policies and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive prices and quality products. Vet suppliers and maintain an updated list of approved vendors. Prepare and process purchase orders and monitor deliveries. Collaborate with the Store Department to monitor inventory levels and replenishment needs. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures. Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare regular reports. Implement cost-control measures and ensure value for money.

Requirements

2–3 years of relevant procurement experience in the manufacturing or FMCG industry. Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management. Strong negotiation, organizational, and record-keeping skills. High level of honesty, accuracy, and attention to detail. Proximity to Apapa/Tin Can Island is a strong advantage. Must be willing to work extended hours when required.

Benefits

Salary: N178,000 monthly. HMO Pension 13th-month salary Leave allowance.
