Job Summary

We are seeking a results-driven and commercially astute Investment & Wealth Manager to drive business development, expand the client base, and strengthen relationships across institutional, corporate, and individual client segments.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Revenue Growth: Develop and execute effective business development strategies to expand market presence, generate revenue, and achieve assigned business targets. Client Acquisition: Identify, pursue, and convert prospective clients across institutional, corporate, and high-net-worth individual segments. Wealth & Portfolio Management: Manage client investment portfolios, monitor performance, and recommend appropriate investment strategies aligned with clients’ financial objectives and risk profiles. Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, investors, financial institutions, and strategic business partners to drive retention and repeat business. Investment Solutions: Promote and recommend suitable investment products and wealth management services based on client needs, market conditions, and organisational offerings. Market Research & Intelligence: Monitor financial markets, industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging investment opportunities to support business development and investment decisions. Strategic Networking: Leverage existing industry contacts and professional networks to generate leads, establish partnerships, and expand the organisation’s client portfolio. Client Advisory & Engagement: Conduct client meetings, investment discussions, and portfolio reviews to identify opportunities, provide updates, and strengthen client confidence.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline. Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in investment management, wealth management, business development, relationship management, or sales within the financial services industry. Demonstrable prior experience working as an Investment Manager or Wealth Manager is required. Strong understanding of investment products, asset management, portfolio performance, and financial market dynamics. Proven track record of client acquisition, portfolio growth, revenue generation, and achievement of business development targets. An established network of industry contacts and the ability to convert professional relationships into business opportunities. Professional qualifications such as CIS, CFA, ACA, ICAN, or an MBA will be an added advantage.
