Job Title: Accountant

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Employment Type: Full-time Role Description The Accountant at Cirvee will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording and reconciling transactions, preparing financial statements, and maintaining accurate ledgers. The role involves monitoring budgets, tracking income and expenses, supporting payroll, and ensuring timely invoicing and payments. The Accountant will assist with financial reporting for management, help prepare documentation for audits, and ensure compliance with relevant financial policies and regulations. The position includes collaborating with other teams to provide financial insights, support planning, and improve internal controls. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ibadan.

Qualifications

Relevant academic background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA) is an advantage. Strong skills in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and general accounting principles. Proficiency with accounting software, spreadsheets, and basic financial analysis. Ability to manage budgets, track expenses, and support cash flow monitoring. Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly. Ability to work on-site in Ibadan, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and handle multiple deadlines. Experience in an educational or service-based organization is beneficial, as well as familiarity with local tax and regulatory requirements.
