Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage our financial transactions, general ledger, and reporting processes. You will work with the finance team to maintain accurate records and support regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Management: Record daily financial transactions, manage accounts payable and receivable, and reconcile bank statements. Financial Reporting: Prepare balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements, and monthly, quarterly, or annual financial reports. Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing budget forecasts and tracking financial performance against goals. Tax & Compliance: Compute taxes, prepare tax returns, and ensure adherence to local financial policies and accounting standards (GAAP or IFRS). Auditing: Organize financial documents and support internal and external audits.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field. Experience:Minimum of 6 years of experience as an Accountant. Technical

Skills

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and experience with accounting software like QuickBooks, Sage, or FreshBooks. Knowledge: Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, tax regulations, and GAAP/IFRS principles. Certifications: Professional certification such as a ACA, CPA, CMA, or local equivalent is an added advantage. Age: Maximum of 35years Salary N250,000 monthly.
